We blessed our darling Charlie today. Mike said Charlie was trying to sit up the whole time during the blessing. Mike almost cracked up, but kept it under control and the blessing short. We admit Chuck's a little big for getting his blessing. But due to procrastination, I mean, RSV season, we decided now was the best time. It was a gorgeous day. We so loved having family around and missed those who couldn't be here.

Our babies are always blessed older waiting to schedule so at least some family/friends can come. And yet, so many family members were unavailable even when you live in Ogden! What a busy far-flung family we have. But I want you to know that even though we haven't met Charlie in person we love him and are so glad he's part of our family!
must. . .hug. . .charlie!! must squish cheeks! can't wait to meet him, loved all the pictures and so sad we missed it. you were able to get some really nice family pictures, too!
Sorry we couldn't be there. He's a darling little boy. Congratulations on your first little son! I think boys are great fun!
It was a good day. I thought he did really well.
Sunday, May 31, 2009 A day to remember. Charles Hale Malmborg was given a name and a blessing by his father. He was blessed to have JOY in his life! It seems a very short time ago that we were blessing our own first little baby boy, Michael.

Yeah, we were a little unconventional in our official blessing experience as well. We blessed Crew ten days after he was born, right before he was whisked away on the Life Flight :) Boy, I wish I could remember a word of it.
