This made me laugh.

What a difference a little apostrophe can make.

Chloe's pinewood derby car:  THE CAT

  

 (dedicated, as many of her projects are, to Charlie)

She raced with all the men and boys and actually beat the second place car, once.

When they began handing out ribbons, she was a little crestfallen, sure that she wasn't going to win an award.

But then, thanks to some cheering on by her cousin Lissa, and the shrewd judgment of the judges, she got a trophy!

"MOST ORIGINAL"

Afterward, Chloe said, "It was really just a block of wood, with some good designs."

Way to go, Chloe!  Our Pinewood Derby Champ!
