Punctuation Matters

How very honest of them.

This made me laugh.
What a difference a little apostrophe can make.

And what about spelling? "Our service is more important than the sell." (Or maybe they think "sell" is correct, because that's how they pronounce "sale.") Ouch.

Sell! Ugh! My pet peeve! You should send this to Reader's Digest. They are on a grammar campaign.

Actually, English major friends, "sell" is okay:

Definition of SELL, noun:
1: a deliberate deception : hoax

2: the act or an instance of selling

It's ugly. But it's okay. "Sale" can be construed to mean an opportunity to buy something at a discounted price. So they went with sell.

Still, I'm not sold.

I wonder what the clients did wrong to end the friendship.

Oh man-------one of my biggest pet peeves! Most of the time the mix-up is with your/you're. I cringe every time I see something like that.

That is great! I needed that laugh. My biggest pet peeve when dating online is men that mix up their words like that. But..-gasp-...I have caught myself doing it too on occasion!
