What did I do today?

Hey Moms (and Non-Moms),

I loved this little article. (It was linked on one of my favorite blogs: stephmodo.) Makes me laugh, makes me cry.

Just nice to know there really are lots of people that know what's going on in your life.

I do love that face.

I don't envy stay at home moms at all. It is so much work to entertainment kids 24-7. I love my neices. They are the cutest.

I liked that article a lot.
Casey walked out of the office to see me sitting at the kitchen table with a book. At the counter were three little girls engrossed in (and scattering) playdough.
He asked me, "What are you doing?"
I replied, "I'm on call." And you know from experience the kind of thing that would happen if I left the room to get something productive done. Or call a friend. It really is the "constant vigilance" that takes all your time as a mom.

Good article. Love the marker on the face too. Matthew did some "carpet coloring" with a marker yesterday-such fun!

I keep reading about the full-time-mom-or-not question. People shake their heads at you if you work, and they shake their heads at you if you don't. What do they want?

Great article. Even us moms sometimes want to know what we've done all day. We know we've been constantly busy, but we have nothing to show for it. The constant vigilance explanation is right on!
