My Fall Foliage Bouquet that Mike made me to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of our first kiss. October 2nd - you are a beautiful day. 
We had a repeat of the preschool field trip to the Black Island Farms pumpkin patch, where we picked plump pumpkins and applauded pink piggies.
Pre-school was in the afternoon, which has been a little tough on Ellie, since she often takes a nap then and she's the youngest one in the class. I was getting hints that things weren't going well. She cried because someone took her chicken feather . . . she refused to join the rest of class because she was busy working on her starfish . . . and when I asked how she did one day, the response was, "She did a lot better today." Sooo, one day she threw a REAL SCREAMING, KICKING FIT because she didn't want to clean up after snacks. When I picked her up that day, and got the report from her teachers, Ellie fell asleep in my arms.
This is the letter she dictated to me after that day.
We enjoyed preschool this year and will enjoy it again starting next Fall.

Oh, I get it--"Charlie" Brown. (I love that name by the way.) And I barely remember the date when I got married, let alone when we first kissed so that Mike is pretty impressive and that bouquet is cute. And poor little Ellie getting in trouble in preschool but then dictating such a darling note to make up for misbehavior.
So it sounds like you quit preschool? I quit Cole's afternoon preschool--one of my best decisions. I love the chicken rider! Those trip me up every time!

I remember your first kiss like it was yesterday (just kidding I swear I didn't see anything). I love the bouquet. That brother of mine is a good hubby(see proper use of the word). I love the halloween costumes, so cute. I'm sorry preschool didn't turn out so well. Maybe it is a good thing because Ellie can't be so much smarter than all the other kids. I was amazed that she knew her alaphabet already. She is one smart cookie.
I am glad I got to see the costumes. Better late than never. They looke great. We have a picture of an as a ghost when she was in high school and she and Chloe could be twins.
Why, how very artsy of Mike. Preschool can be tough...
I love hand-picked bouquets best, very nice!! I love the costumes, but my question is, who is dressed as the pumpkin hunter?
