My cousin's brother-in-law and sister-in-law were involved in a terrible plane crash and are recovering in a burn unit in Arizona, with up to 80% burns. They have four young children at home. I'd heard about them, and then, crazy enough, I began stumbling across their story again in various blogs - from people who don't know them at all, but are trying to help. They've set up silent auctions of their crafts, are donating proceeds of their products, and are otherwise getting the word out to help this young family. I am so touched at these people's generosity.
Take a moment to see these links that share the story.

There are such wonderful people out there, it makes me want to try a little harder. Remember this family in your prayers.
I've put a Nie Recovery Button on the sidebar if you want to help.

i've been watching and participating in these auctions for the last week + and had no idea the connection we had, now i can see the resemblance to peter! i'm so touched at the outpouring of love and generosity that has been going on for this family.
I am so sad about this. I knew Stephanie and Christian and Claire, Jane and Oliver. I just can't believe that this happened. I'm glad that you posted about it and sent an email or I might have never known and I'm glad that they've provided a way for us to help a little. thanks vic.
i'm going to post a link on my site too.
I wonder if there is something I could do? Someone posted a comment about them on my blog.
