Here's a remnant from the housing bubble that was.
This 1965 beauty is not too far from us on a really nice street. Any guesses what it would cost to buy? There are two prices offered. One price is to buy as is, demolition required, as it's totally gutted inside. The other price: they'll demolish it and build a new home for you.
Some more details:
Flr 1: 1825 sq. ft.
Basement: 1235 sq. ft.
Total: 3060 sq. ft.
.35 acres
Any guesses?
(I am waiting for more guesses! No one is very close yet. Maybe there should be a prize involved...)

um, 400 thou. love your hair! love your eccentric artists. and i tagged you on my blog. hee ha ha.
1/4 acre. overgrown. no drywall, wiring or plumbing.
okay, 50 cents.
okay for reals. as is 189,00.(not that it's worth that.) with a new house 695,00. those are my guesses.
I need to know the sq. footage!
So tell us already!
you have to guess first!
Since people have a hard time letting go of what they might have had, even when it was unrealistic in the first place, I will say: 379,000 for as is and 790,000 for build to suit.
Well when we were shopping in SLC east of 13th and much farther south we nearly paid $317,000 for a 1,400 square foot 50s track home. I'm guessing this is $700,00 as it looks 4x as big and is in a better neighborhood.
Not a clue, my guess is 550,000 as is.
Great location, 750K.
My guess is 650K as is and 1.2 million if built.
$525,000 as is.
