My friend Star is a fabulous artist and has a great new shop! Check it out! She offers original paintings, prints, cards, and handmade dolls and other "softies." I picked up a print of The Thinking Bench - I love the curly vines and the cool cowgirl boots on the thinking girl.
I'm thinking to myself, I laid in bed all day today and listened through a monitor to my girls playing. And then I remember that there are really cool people out there doing and creating great things! Good thing there are people out there to inspire you.
(I've actually been really sick today. That's not my usual parenting practice. But when I'm well, by golly, I'm gonna make me a little somethin'!)

Wow! So many artists in Huntsville! What's in that water?? Art minerals or something! (Lee's great grandpa lived in Ogden and he and his children that still live there are artists!)
